Kazakhstan Condemns Attack on Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s Tankers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has condemned the attacks on the oil tankers of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, stating that these attacks are unacceptable and directly target the country's economic interests.

We consider such attacks as unacceptable attacks on the economic interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The ministry expressed concern that the mechanism for exchanging information about tankers in the Black Sea is being deliberately ignored, which puts the crew's safety at risk.Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry demanded that the attacks be stopped immediately and that measures be taken to ensure the security of the country's oil export infrastructure. It also called on partner countries to condemn the attacks and on all stakeholders to develop concrete measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.
