Dispute Turns Deadly in Kartal: Young Man Loses His Life

A dispute in front of a workplace in Istanbul's Kartal district turned deadly, resulting in the stabbing death of a 27-year-old man. Seven people have been detained in connection with the incident. An investigation into the stabbing death of 27-year-old Yusuf İnan in Istanbul has led to the detention of seven people. It was discovered that two of the suspects attempted to flee the country illegally. The father of the deceased, İnan, lost his life in the February 6, 2023, earthquakes in Adıyaman, and İnan had brought his two siblings and mother, who is undergoing cancer treatment, from Adıyaman to Istanbul after the disaster. The Istanbul Police Department examined security footage and determined that the victim had been involved in a dispute with three suspects in front of his workplace before being beaten and stabbed. Police teams identified Ö.S. and B.Ç. as attempting to flee the country illegally from Edirne and apprehended them. They found that Ö.S. had stabbed İnan and B.Ç. had beaten him. The teams also detained five other suspects in a simultaneous operation in Istanbul, who were found to be connected to the incident and had assisted the primary suspects.
