Landslide on the Highway: Truck Stuck in Barriers

A landslide on the Erzincan-Sivas highway caused a major traffic problem.The landslide, which occurred in the Sakaltutan Pass area due to heavy rainfall, caused a passing truck to become stuck in the barriers. The driver managed to exit the vehicle on his own and reach safety. The landslide caused significant disruption to traffic, and the highway was temporarily closed. Traffic jams of approximately 5 kilometers formed on both sides of the road.Highway teams inspected the scene and began work. After the landslide was cleared and the road was secured, the road was reopened to traffic on one lane.
