Alert on the Black Sea Coast: Swimming Banned in Some Provinces and Districts

In some provinces on the Black Sea coast, swimming was banned over the weekend due to unfavorable weather conditions. Authorities warned the public against strong winds, high waves, and rip currents, stating that inspections on the beaches would be increased.In some districts of Kırklareli, Ordu, Tekirdağ, and Istanbul on the Black Sea coast, swimming was banned.In Kırklareli's Demirköy district, access to all beaches was prohibited.The Ordu Governor's Office banned swimming in some eastern districts after 14:00 on July 4, Saturday, and throughout the day in western districts. On July 5, Sunday, the ban will be applied throughout the province.The Tekirdağ Governor's Office also banned swimming in all beaches in the Saray district on July 4-5.In Istanbul's Beykoz district, swimming was banned in beaches, bays, and coves with a Black Sea coast due to high waves on July 4-5.
