Bringing Beauty to Cappadocia at Night

Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, is delighted to share Cappadocia's unique natural and cultural heritage with visitors at night as well.
The new lighting projects implemented at Göreme Open Air Museum, Paşabağları Archaeological Site, Zelve Open Air Museum, and Erdemli Valley, have made the region's characteristic rock formations visible at night with an aesthetic and controlled lighting design.
Minister Ersoy stated that they have enriched the visitor experience with a total of 692 lighting fixtures and introduced Cappadocia's historical and natural heritage in a new narrative through a reflection show application.
Emphasizing that these efforts prioritize energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, reduction of light pollution, conservation of natural life, and preservation of the cultural heritage's unique identity, they have further empowered the night museum vision, making Cappadocia explorable in a safe and comfortable manner even after sunset.
