National open water swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu achieved a significant success by crossing Japan's Tsugaru Channel, one of the world's most challenging open water routes, in 13 hours and 44 minutes. Türkoğlu completed the approximately 45-kilometer course despite strong currents and high waves, earning the title of the youngest Turkish athlete to cross the Tsugaru Channel. This achievement marks an important step for Türkoğlu in her goal to complete the Oceans Seven (Oceans Seven), as the Tsugaru Channel is considered one of the most challenging open water routes. With this accomplishment, Türkoğlu has become the youngest Turkish athlete to cross the Tsugaru Channel, leaving only one more course to complete the Oceans Seven.
