Turkey Sends Condolences to Japan After Devastating Earthquake

Following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck Japan's Kumamoto prefecture on July 28, resulting in loss of life, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement.

It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the significant loss of life in the earthquake that occurred in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. We extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to the Japanese people, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
