School Service Fees in Izmir Increase by 20 Percent

In Izmir, student and personnel transportation fees have been increased by 20 percent before the new academic year. The lowest student service fee has been raised to 4,228 lira. The increased tariffs were applied to all transportation services, from pre-school education to private education. According to the new tariff, the service fee for a distance of 06 kilometers is 4,228 lira. The 20 percent increase in service fees also covers vehicles that transport students to pre-school and special education institutions. With this update, the fee for the shortest distance of 03 kilometers has increased from 3,653 lira to 4,384 lira, and the fee for the longest distance of 040 kilometers has risen from 8,228 lira to 9,874 lira.
