Fire Breaks Out on ESHOT Bus in Izmir: Passengers Evacuated Safely

A fire broke out on a municipal bus traveling on the Torbalı-Ödemiş route in Bayındır, Izmir. The incident occurred in the engine section of the bus, which belongs to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality's ESHOT. The fire started on Bayındır Menderes Boulevard.Passengers and the driver immediately reported the situation to the fire and police teams. The driver quickly evacuated all passengers from the bus. Firefighters brought the fire under control and extinguished it.During the incident, the road was temporarily closed to traffic but was reopened after the fire was put out. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the engine section of the vehicle suffered material damage.
