Four Police Officers Slightly Injured in Incident with Knife-Wielding Suspect at Izmir Airport

At Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, a police intervention was carried out when a man was spotted with two knives in the Domestic Arrivals Hall.During the struggle to subdue the suspect, one commissioner and three police officers were slightly injured with a knife. The injured officers were taken to Menderes State Hospital by ambulance and were discharged after receiving treatment.The suspect, who has been undergoing mental health treatment for a long time and is reported to have mental instability, was taken into custody and is facing charges of 'intentional injury' and 'resisting a law enforcement officer'.
