Large Fire Breaks Out in İzmir Çiğli: Teams Continue Firefighting Efforts

A large fire broke out in a vast grassland area near Mustafa Kemal and Evka-2 neighborhoods in İzmir's Çiğli district . The cause of the fire is still unknown. A comprehensive effort was initiated to respond to the fire, with 2 planes, 2 helicopters, 25 fire trucks, 7 water supply vehicles, and 2 dozers from the İzmir Forest Regional Directorate, along with fire brigade teams, working to extinguish the flames.As night fell, the operation of the air vehicles was halted, while firefighting efforts continued from the ground. The teams' battle against the fire is expected to continue throughout the night.
