Italy Battles Heat and Rain

Italy is experiencing both extreme heat and heavy rainfall, with the north seeing storms and flash floods. One person has died from the heat in Sardinia. The heatwave that has lasted for around 10 days in Italy has given way to heavy rain in some northern areas. According to Rainews24, temperatures in Rome, Sicily, and Sardinia are expected to reach 40 degrees today. Additionally, a 75-year-old person died under a beach umbrella in Orosei, Sardinia. At least 5 people died from the heat last week. The Italian Health Ministry has added more cities to its 'red' alert list due to the high temperatures.
