Traffic Closure in Istanbul Tomorrow: Alternative Routes

Istanbul will witness the 2026 International Asia and Europe Triathlon Championship tomorrow, resulting in the closure of certain roads. The roads to be closed and alternative routes have been determined. All roads leading to the coast in Beykoz and Üsküdar, as well as Cuma Yolu Caddesi and Körfez Caddesi, will be closed to traffic.Drivers can use Küçüksu and Göksu streets, as well as Mehmet Ali Birand and Atatürk streets in the direction of Kavacık, as alternative routes. Additionally, the southern direction of the TEM Highway, from Maslak-Sarıyer to the Ankara direction, the southern direction of the TEM Highway from Maslak to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, and the connection from Levent and Etiler-Baltalimanı to the southern direction of the TEM Highway will be closed to traffic.The southern direction of the TEM Highway to the Anatolian side, the New Riva Road, and the traffic flow from Kavacık to Atatürk Caddesi will also be closed. As an alternative, drivers can use Büyükdere Caddesi, the Northern Marmara Highway, the southern D-100 15 July Martyrs Bridge, and the Eurasia Tunnel in the direction of Ankara, as well as the New Riva Road and Kavacık via the bridge to the southern direction of the TEM Highway.
