Some Roads in Istanbul Will Be Closed to Traffic Tomorrow

Some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic due to events to be held on the anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. The Istanbul Governorship announced the roads that will be closed due to the 15 July Democracy and Martyrs' Memorial Run program.According to the statement from the Governorship, the roads that will be closed between 03.00-15.00 due to the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day events were determined by the Istanbul Police Department Traffic Inspection Department.Accordingly, the roads connecting to the 15 July Martyrs' Bridge, the D-100 southern road Beşiktaş-Sarıyer separation point, and the D-100 northern road Ümraniye-Altunizade separation point will be closed to traffic. In Beşiktaş, Barbaros Boulevard Sait Çiftçi bridge connection, Sait Çiftçi Variant upper bridge connection, Yıldız Posta Street Gayrettepe D-100 southern connection, Barbaros Boulevard Zincirlikuyu D-100 southern connection, and Barbaros Boulevard to Sarıyer direction D-100 northern connection will be closed to traffic.In Üsküdar, the connections from Beylerbeyi to the bridge, from Kısıklı Street to the bridge, Altunizade Junction, and Tophaneli Street to the bridge will be closed to traffic. With the decision of the Istanbul Governorship, metrobus services will be operated from the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge tomorrow.According to the announcement from İETT, due to the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Memorial Run, a temporary route arrangement will be applied to metrobus services from 03.00 on Wednesday, July 15, until a second announcement.
