Istanbul's Shocking Murder: Uncovering the Crime Committed in Postal Worker Disguise

In Küçükçekmece, a armed attack on a cell phone store resulted in the death of 1 person. As the investigation into the attack deepened, it was revealed that the perpetrator was disguised as a postal worker. The assailant, identified as Berzan K., used a fake notification to verify the identity of the store owner, Çetin Aktürk, before shooting and fleeing. Analysis of security camera footage showed that the suspect changed out of the postal uniform in a street without cameras and attempted to dispose of the weapon. Following the identification of the suspect and efforts to apprehend him, a police officer recognized and apprehended Berzan K. at the Büyük Istanbul Bus Station. It was discovered that Berzan K. intended to travel to Edirne by bus and then cross into Greece illegally. In his statement to the police, Berzan K. claimed that the murder was committed as an act of revenge. Additionally, it was found that he had stayed in a hotel near the crime scene and had interactions with an individual who was also identified and taken into custody.
