Istanbul Weather Alert: Rain Shower Warning

The temperature in Istanbul is expected to be between 30-32 degrees today. According to the latest forecast by the Meteorology General Directorate, there is a chance of thunderstorms and rain showers in the city today. Rain showers are expected to occur not only in Istanbul but also in Thrace and the eastern Marmara region, as well as along the Black Sea coast. The rain shower is expected to be effective only on Sunday. In addition to the rain shower, strong winds from the north are expected, so caution is advised.According to the latest evaluation by the Meteorology General Directorate, the northern parts of the country and the Mediterranean are expected to be partly cloudy, with local rain and thunderstorms in the eastern Marmara region, the Toroslar region of the Mediterranean, the western and eastern Black Sea, the northern coast of the Central Black Sea, and the northeastern part of Eastern Anatolia. Rain is expected to be heavy in Rize, Artvin, Kars, Ardahan, and the northeastern part of Erzurum.
