Warning for Sea Entrants in Istanbul: Ban Decision in Şile, Eyüpsultan, and Arnavutköy

A ban on entering the sea has been introduced in the districts of Şile, Eyüpsultan, and Arnavutköy in Istanbul due to unfavorable sea conditions. In Şile, the ban will be in effect until Saturday, July 25, while in Eyüpsultan and Arnavutköy, it will be in effect tomorrow. The Şile Governor's Office announced that, based on the data from the Meteorology General Directorate, high wave heights are expected, and therefore, entry to the beaches is prohibited. In Eyüpsultan and Arnavutköy, a ban on entering the sea has been introduced due to strong winds and high waves. The Arnavutköy Governor's Office announced that, due to the expected high wave heights in the district's coastlines, sea entry is prohibited.
