Rain Alert for Istanbul

Despite the hot weather in Turkey, the northern regions are expected to be affected by rain showers starting from tomorrow. The Disaster and Coordination Center (AKOM) issued a warning that Istanbul may experience rain showers tomorrow. According to meteorological data, thunderstorms and rain showers are expected in the Marmara and Black Sea regions. With the rain showers, a drop in air temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees is expected. A warning was issued that Sunday will be locally rainy in Istanbul. 2 to 5 kg of precipitation is expected in Istanbul in general. From Monday, the rains in the Marmara Region will end, and temperatures will rise again above the seasonal norms. The rains will continue to affect the Black Sea Region until Wednesday.
