Istanbul Bosphorus Hosts Vibrant Naval Parade

The Istanbul Bosphorus witnessed a vibrant naval parade with the participation of 253 ships to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. The crowd gathered on the coast welcomed the ships with Turkish flags, while the parade included vessels from public institutions, as well as fishing boats, passenger boats, and private boats. The TCSG Güven ship of the Coast Guard Command led the parade, and the Nene Hatun Emergency Response Ship of the Coastal Safety General Directorate performed an impressive water show. The crowd at the Ortaköy Pier enthusiastically welcomed the parade with Turkish flags, and the Coast Guard teams also greeted the parade with the traditional çimariva salute.
