Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir Responds to Gaza Agreement
Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has responded to the draft agreement published by the Gaza Peace Council, describing it as 'unacceptable for Israel'. Ben-Gvir called for the continuation of attacks on Gaza. In a post on his social media account, the Israeli National Security Minister suggested that adhering to a ceasefire that would halt attacks on Hamas could pave the way for new attack plans.

We should continue attacks in Gaza, promote evacuation from Gaza, and ensure Israel's victory.

The announcement that Hamas had accepted a detailed roadmap highlighted the need for Israel's withdrawal from occupied territories to progress simultaneously. Hamas had expressed a positive attitude towards the proposals presented by mediators for the negotiation process and the completion of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. Israel's stance has increased tensions in the region, while diplomatic efforts to find a solution continue.
