Reaction to Israel's Attacks on Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza. It was stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aims to prevent the establishment of a peaceful environment in Gaza and to displace Palestinians from their homeland. The statement noted that 'the implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan, which would have made it possible to achieve a road map, was followed by Israel's killing of more than 30 civilians in Gaza and targeting of health facilities, once again showing that the Netanyahu government does not have the will to make peace with the Palestinians.' Furthermore, all countries that support the peace and prosperity of the region and Palestine were called upon to act with a sense of shared responsibility, upholding international law and humanitarian values.
