Israeli Military Strengthens Presence in Syrian Dera Countryside
The Israeli military has advanced in the western countryside of Syria's Dera province, deploying military vehicles along the road between the villages of Cemle and Saysun. According to local sources, Israeli troops established a tent with infantry units in the area. The Israeli military has also begun setting up a new military point in the Tel el-Mağr region near the village of Abidin in western Dera.It is reported that the Israeli military's aforementioned military points continue to maintain their presence in the region, with Israeli soldiers continuing to deploy. These developments come after Israel violated the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by constructing 10 bases and military points in the Dera and Kuneytra provinces in southern Syria.
