Israel Objects to Gaza Peace Plan

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel is objecting to the terms of a 15-point plan proposed by the US to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip.Israel has expressed its objections, stating that the plan does not adequately address the demands for the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza.

Israel demands the complete disarmament of Hamas, the removal of weapons from Gaza, and the full demilitarization of the Strip as a precondition for any process. The 15-point document being discussed does not adequately address these demands, and Israel has conveyed its objections to Ambassador Tony Blair

Furthermore, it was emphasized that the Israeli military will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until Hamas is fully disarmed and the Strip is completely demilitarized.
