Israeli Media: US Ends Israel's 'Unlimited Movement' in Lebanon

According to Israeli media, the US is ending Israel's 'unlimited operation freedom' in Lebanon. Following this decision, restrictions are being imposed on the operations that the Israeli army will carry out in Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had stated that the units in southern Lebanon had full freedom of movement. However, it is stated that the administration of US President Donald Trump has imposed restrictions on Israel in various fronts.Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, in his meeting with senior commanders, discussed the assessments that Hamas has regained strength. The meeting reportedly evaluated options for large-scale military operations aimed at disarming Hamas. However, some commanders expressed concern that the Trump administration might oppose a new and comprehensive military operation in Gaza.
