Eight Days of Bull Runs in Spain Come to an End

The San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, Spain, has concluded its eight-day bull run event. Over 70 people were injured during the festival, with 67 hospitalized and eight injured by bull horn thrusts.The festival began with bull runs on an 875-meter course and bullfights in the evening. The event, open to those 18 and older, featured six bulls and six oxen.According to Pamplona City officials, most injuries were due to falls and trampling. The San Fermin tradition dates back to the 14th century. Since 1910, 16 people have died from bull horn thrusts.
