Spain to Impose Border Controls on Italy

Spain has announced that it will impose border controls on travelers from Italy starting from Saturday midnight until September 7 due to the dispute over irregular migration.Passengers from Italy, as well as those from other countries transiting through Italy, will undergo passport, nationality, and visa checks. The ongoing pressure of irregular migration was cited as the reason for this decision. In response, Italy has also implemented its own border measures.
