Iranian Spokesman: Groups Within the US Administration Are Blocking Government Commitments

Iranian Foreign Ministry and Negotiation Team Spokesman Ismail Bekayi pointed out that certain groups within the US administration are hindering the government's fulfillment of its commitments, which is the reason behind the inability to implement the agreement between Tehran and Washington.Regarding the agreement signed between Iran and the US, Bekayi stated, “Apparently, some groups within the US administration are preventing their government from keeping its promises. What matters most, however, is that the US has failed to fulfill its commitments” he said.Commenting on the tension in the Strait of Hormuz, Bekayi said, “The 5th article of this agreement emphasizes that the management of the Strait of Hormuz should be carried out in consultation with Oman and regional countries. However, the US is ignoring this and attempting to take control of this strategic waterway”Bekayi also warned that the international community has been and will continue to be negatively affected by the war launched against Iran.
