Funeral of Iran's Former Leader Hamaney Arrives in Iraq

The funeral of Iran's former religious leader Ayatollah Ali Hamaney has arrived at Najaf International Airport in Iraq for funeral ceremonies. The official reception ceremony was attended by Iraqi political leaders and Shia clerics.Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan and Iraqi Prime Minister Ali ez-Zeydi were among the high-ranking officials who received Hamaney's body at the airport. It was announced that Hamaney's funeral would participate in ceremonies to be held in Iraq's holy cities, which are home to shrines of great importance to Shia Muslims.
