Agreement on Release of Iran's Frozen Assets

Iran's Parliamentary and Negotiation Team Chairman Mohammad Bagher Kali Bak, announced that an agreement has been reached with the US on the release of $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets in Switzerland.Kali Bak stated that a communication channel for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz has also been agreed upon.

In the Swiss negotiations, we reached common understandings and mechanisms with America to guarantee Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

These developments are seen as significant steps towards normalizing relations between Iran and the US. The temporary lifting of sanctions on oil and petrochemical sales until a final agreement is reached is also part of the agreement.
