Iran's Hormozgan Airport Closed After US Attacks
The Hormozgan Airport in Iran's Hormozgan province has been closed until further notice following US attacks. The closure is due to the current situation in southern Iran, and notifications will be made when the airport resumes service. The US had launched attacks on the cities of Sirik and Bandar Abbas near the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran, as well as the cities of Mahshahr, Bandar Imam, and Hamidiyeh in the Hormozgan province. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had struck over 80 military targets in response to Iran's attacks on commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that it had targeted 85 military facilities, missiles, and drones in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to the US attacks on southern Iran.
