US Targets 6 Bridges in Iran

Six bridges in Iran's Hormozgan province, specifically in the Hamir district, have been targeted by the US. US President Donald Trump had previously announced that Iran's power plants and bridges would be disabled as part of the country's infrastructure being targeted. According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, the Hormozgan Governorate stated that the Girveh Bridge on the Bender Abbas - Hamir- Lar route, the bridge after the Latidan (Kalmatli) village, the bridge on the Bender Abbas - Khamir-Lar return route, two bridges on the Kuhoristan-Lar route, the unfinished bridge on the Bender Hamir-Keshar-Bender Abbas axis, and the bridge in the Maru village of Hamir district were targeted and damaged by the US.The US move has escalated tensions with Iran, and Iranian General Staff Spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi stated in a television interview that all infrastructure in the region would be targeted in the event of an attack on Iran's infrastructure.
