Iran Reports 17 Dead, 115 Injured in US Attacks on July 8-9

Iran's Health Ministry announced that 17 people were killed and 115 injured in the US attacks on six cities in the country on July 8-9. The ministry's spokesperson, Hossein Kermanpur, provided information on the casualties and injuries caused by the US attacks on six cities via his social media account. Kermanpur stated that 17 people, including one woman, lost their lives, and 115 were injured. The US had launched attacks on Iran's southern regions and the northern province of Golestan on July 8-9, despite an agreement between the two countries, after Iran targeted some ships in the Strait of Hormuz for 'uncoordinated' movement. In response, Iran carried out operations targeting US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.
