Iran Attacks on US Military Facilities Cost  Billion
The cost of Iran's attacks on US military facilities since the beginning of the US's Operation Epic Fury has been substantial. Over 2,000 air, missile, and drone attacks launched by Iran against US facilities in the Middle East since February 28 have resulted in damage to at least 20 US bases in 8 countries, with over 42 military aircraft destroyed or damaged. An attack on the Muvaffak Salti Air Base in Jordan killed 3 US soldiers, with hangars and infrastructure also damaged. The US Combined Air Operations Center in Qatar suffered significant damage, while planes were damaged and soldiers injured in Saudi Arabia. The US Naval Forces Central Command headquarters in Bahrain, radar systems, and satellite communication equipment were also hit, and hangars and satellite communication systems were damaged in Kuwait. According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, the total damage in the second half of July reached $20.6 billion. The greatest loss was $7.5 billion in air defense systems and radar, followed by $6.8 billion in logistics infrastructure, $3.5 billion in air fleet, and $2.8 billion in command centers. US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated on July 22 that the total cost of the US war with Iran was $37.5 billion.
