Iranian Speaker Kalibaf Responds to US Allegations

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran's chief negotiator and Speaker of the Parliament, denied the US claim that Iran's frozen assets will be spent on US goods. Ghalibaf stated that the US is only exporting genetically modified soybeans, unfulfilled promises, and empty words.This response came after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's statement on Wednesday, where he reiterated President Donald Trump's words. The US insists that a large portion of Iran's frozen assets will be used to purchase US food and medicine. However, Iran maintains that it will decide how to allocate its own funds.
