Iran Rejects Proposal to Keep Strait of Hormuz Open

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Iran rejected the US proposal to keep the Strait of Hormuz open until the negotiations are completed during diplomatic talks in Oman.This proposal, presented within the framework of ongoing negotiations between Iran and the US, was not accepted by Iran.

Regardless of the outcome, Iran's basic policy will not change. We did not accept this proposal. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the new wave of conflict continue. This is the true manifestation of dignified diplomacy.
