Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Responds to US: Our Militants Will Respond

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baqaei stated that the US has violated the agreement, saying "Under these conditions, our hands are not tied. Our militants will respond to American aggression with power and might."

Reciprocal obligations mean that as long as the other side fulfills its obligations, we consider our commitments to be applicable. If the other side violates them, we will also refrain from implementing our commitments in any area we deem necessary in response.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman said, "The memorandum of understanding consists of a series of mutual obligations. If the other side violates it, we will also refrain from implementing our obligations. This is a principle and will be followed in the future as well."
