The statement asserted that the attacks constituted a breach of international law and the agreement reached between the parties.The Ministry stated that the attacks, particularly those targeting surveillance facilities in coastal areas, including the city of Sirik, were strongly condemned.The statement argued that the US attacks on the evening of June 27, 2026, openly violated Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter.The Iranian side also claimed that the attacks contravened the “Agreement on the Termination of Imposed War” dated June 18, 2026.
