Iranian Foreign Minister Criticizes CENTCOM: Did It Bring Security or Insecurity to the Region?

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi has commented on the recent high-level military meeting held by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) in Bahrain. Through a social media post, Arakchi questioned whether CENTCOM has brought security or insecurity to the region.

Did CENTCOM bring security or insecurity to our region? The answer is clear. Similarly, our strong armed forces have proven that those from outside cannot even protect themselves. Peace in our region can only be sustained in a comprehensive and inclusive manner, without any external interference.

The meeting in Bahrain was attended by top military officials from 12 countries in the region.The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that genuine security and peace in the region can only be achieved through a comprehensive and inclusive approach, free from external interference. Arakchi highlighted that Iran's strong armed forces are committed to protecting the region against external threats.
