Iranian Foreign Minister Arakchi: Zelensky Attacked Iranian Ship

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, at Israel's request, targeted an Iranian ship, resulting in the death of a sailor.

In my meetings with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, I explicitly stated that the action taken by the 'freebie regime' in Kiev cannot be left unanswered.

Arakchi described this action as a clear violation of the UN Charter, aimed at drawing Europe into its own war.It was reported that Iranian-affiliated military cargo ships and a warship were targeted by long-range attacks in the Caspian Sea. The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack. Additionally, Ukraine's chargé d'affaires in Tehran was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry regarding the incident.
