Iranian Foreign Minister Arakchi: We Won Both the War and Diplomacy

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that they won the war that started with the attacks by the US and Israel on February 28, and that officials from various countries told him that they 'won both the war and diplomacy'. According to a report by the Iranian news agency IRNA, Arakchi spoke at a ceremony for the signing of a memorandum of understanding on diplomacy and health cooperation for the reconstruction of infrastructure damaged in the war, held at the Iranian Ministry of Health. Arakchi, who claimed that Iran proved itself in the war that started with the attacks by the US and Israel and showed that it is an 'invincible power', stated that he heard similar assessments from officials of various countries regarding Iran's attitude in the war.

I have heard from officials of other countries that 'the Iranians created a miracle and surprised the whole world'. No one thought that Iran would counter the US in this way and ultimately force the enemy to demand negotiations.

Referring to the fact that US President Donald Trump called for 'unconditional surrender' from Iran at the beginning of the war, Arakchi said, 'He published a message of unconditional surrender, and the same enemy was begging for negotiations 20 days later'. Arakchi stated that Iran also defended its rights in the field of diplomacy, saying, 'The Iranian people showed how to defend their rights in the field of diplomacy. I heard this from various officials, they say 'you won both the war and diplomacy''.
