Iranian Foreign Minister Calls on US to Stop Israeli Attacks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi called on the US to pressure Israel to stop its airstrikes in Lebanon. Arakçi emphasized the need for the implementation of all clauses of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Washington and Tehran. In a press conference in Baghdad, Arakçi stated, 'Unfortunately, the Zionist entity continues its aerial attacks on Lebanon.' He reminded that the MoU was also accepted by Israel and said, 'Washington should fulfill its responsibility and force Israel to end its attacks in Lebanon.'

The Strait of Hormuz will be under the full control and management of Iran for the next 30 days. The strait's full capacity will be restored once all obstacles are removed.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein condemned the attacks on Iran, stating, 'We do not support the expansion of the war in the Gulf and are against the attacks on Iran.' Hussein expressed his regret over Iran becoming a target of war and aggression. Arakçi announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be under the full control and management of Iran for the next 30 days.
