Iran does not want an increase in tension and insecurity in the region. However, it will use all its capabilities to defend national security, interests, and territorial integrity.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Bekayi stated that the US is waging war on the entire region. He mentioned that there are currently no talks between Iran and the US, and Iran's priority is the negotiations with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Bekayi's statements contradicted those of US President Trump.US President Trump had stated that he had delayed ordering new US attacks on Iran at the request of his allies in the Gulf countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Trump also mentioned that he had a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and that talks would begin today.

I asked the Crown Prince, 'What do you think we should do? Do you want us to do this or not?' They said, 'We prefer a deal over an attack. Because you can't predict where these attacks will lead.'
