Iran Condemns US Attack on Ahvaz Children's Cancer Hospital as War Crime

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned the US attack on the children's cancer treatment center in Ahvaz as a 'war crime'. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi stated that the hospital was evacuated after the attack. Mousavi compared the attack to Israel's attacks on health facilities, stating that 211 children undergoing cancer treatment were urgently evacuated for security reasons. The Iranian spokesperson described the attack as 'a heinous war crime against the most innocent beings, children who are bravely fighting for their lives'. Mousavi also called on the international community to take action, stating that countries that claim to advocate for human rights have lost their moral credibility by ignoring attacks on hospitals and healthcare centers. Meanwhile, Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences announced that some patients have returned to the hospital and the Shahid Bekayi Hospital has resumed its activities and continues to accept patients.
