Iran Claims to Have Launched Attack on US Airbases in Jordan

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had carried out an operation against the US airbases in Jordan, King Faisal and Prince Hassan, in retaliation for the recent US attacks. The Iranian side claimed that the US air units and military infrastructure suffered heavy damage during the operation. According to the statement released by the IRGC, the attack was the first phase of the retaliatory operation, targeting the US military capabilities in the region. The statement also mentioned that a maintenance hangar for F-15 fighter jets was hit, and an unmanned aerial vehicle production hangar was completely destroyed, with eight MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicles being destroyed on the ground and two more suffering heavy damage. The Iranian authorities also claimed that two US military helicopters were damaged during the operation. The Iranian side reported that a military deployment center was also targeted during the attack. The Revolutionary Guards claimed that there were casualties among the US forces as a result of the attack.
