Construction Worker Falls to Death Down Elevator Shaft

A 39-year-old construction worker fell to his death down an elevator shaft in a 12-story building under construction in Karaman's Hamidiye district. The incident occurred on 1038th Street in Hamidiye. The worker, identified as Mesut Yıldız, lost his life in the accident. Emergency services, including AFAD, fire department, police, and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene. After an examination by medical personnel, it was determined that Yıldız had lost his life. Yıldız's body was taken to the morgue of Karaman Education and Research Hospital for autopsy.
