As of 2025, the provinces with the lowest average salaries in Turkey's private sector include Mardin, Bitlis, Giresun, Kars, Muş, Sinop, Tokat, Tunceli, Şanlıurfa, Van, Bayburt, Batman, and Şırnak.

In 22 provinces, including Afyonkarahisar, Aydın, Denizli, Edirne, and Kahramanmaraş, the average salary of private sector workers was 40-50% above the minimum wage.

Additionally, in some provinces, average salaries range from 40% to 60% above the minimum wage.

In Çorum, Erzincan, Erzurum, Hatay, Gaziantep, Yozgat, and Ardahan, the average salaries in the private sector were 50-60% above the minimum wage.

In provinces that are prominent in industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism, average salaries range from 60% to 80% above the minimum wage.

In Adana, Balıkesir, Kayseri, Konya, Kütahya, Muğla, Aksaray, Karaman, and Osmaniye, the average salaries of private sector workers were 60-70% above the minimum wage.

In provinces that are important for tourism and manufacturing, average salaries range from 70% to 100% above the minimum wage.

In Antalya, Çanakkale, Yalova, and Düzce, the average salaries of private sector workers were 70-80% above the minimum wage.

Finally, in major provinces such as Ankara, Istanbul, and Kocaeli, average salaries range from 100% to 154% above the minimum wage.

In Bursa, İzmir, Kırklareli, Manisa, Kırıkkale, and Karabük, the average salaries of private sector workers were close to the national average, at 90-100% above the minimum wage.
