Tuna Ortayli stated that she did not want the items to go to waste and that the income from the sale would contribute to a memorial forest to be established by the TEMA Foundation. Tuna Ortayli announced that her father had 7 houses in Istanbul that needed to be closed and that the income from the sale would be used to contribute to the memorial forest. Tuna Ortayli stated that her father, as an academic, wanted to be remembered by his books and that they would establish a library.
