Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi made a statement in Esenyurt about the collection of stray animals. Minister Çiftçi stated that as a result of the efforts across Turkey, 96.5 percent of stray animals have been collected.
Minister Çiftçi also noted that the framework law prepared within the scope of Turkey Without Terrorism has been submitted to the TBMM and has passed through the Justice Commission, and they are waiting for it to be discussed and enacted in the TBMM General Assembly.
We have collected 96.5 percent of stray animals across Turkey. In Esenyurt, all stray animals have been taken to shelters.
The greatest contribution to this process reaching today belongs to our President. From the beginning, he has shown determination, made it a state policy, and as a result, the process has come to this point in a healthy manner.
