New Development in Investigation: 5 More Suspects Arrested in Connection with İBB Kültür A.Ş. Kidnapping

A new development has occurred in the investigation into the kidnapping of Erhan Karaal, Deputy General Manager of İBB Kültür AŞ. Five more suspects have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping. As part of the investigation, the Istanbul Police Department's Asayiş Şube Müdürlüğü Gasp Büro Amirliği teams conducted an operation at a bungalow in Sakarya to apprehend the five suspects. It was determined that the suspects had left the address eight hours prior to the operation. The teams examining the security cameras in the area identified the license plate of the vehicle used by the suspects. The police discovered that the suspects had fled to a villa in a wooded area in Kocaeli and conducted an operation at the location. During the operation, two of the suspects escaped into the forest. Following the efforts of the teams, all five suspects, including those who escaped into the forest, were taken into custody.
