Hezbollah MP: The Issue is Not Arms, But Lebanon's Protection

Hezbollah MP Raid Berro discussed the security crisis in Lebanon, stating that his country is under pressure from the US and Israel. Berro noted that the US-Iran negotiations have further complicated the situation. He also highlighted that the agreement reached in Switzerland provided a crucial solution for ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon. Berro expressed satisfaction with Hezbollah's participation in talks in Islamabad and Switzerland, where Lebanon's interests were taken into account. He described Iran's stance towards Lebanon as 'acting in the interest of Lebanon without expecting anything in return'. Berro defended Hezbollah's stance, saying 'The issue is not Hezbollah's arms, but how Lebanon is protected'. Emphasizing that they are in the midst of a large war, the MP stated that anyone helping to stop the attacks and regain their land is considered a friend.
